Terms and Conditions of Use

1. Acceptance of Terms
By using the SushiCount app or accessing the website, you agree to these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree, please do not use the application or our services.
2. Use of the App
SushiCount offers tools to count sushi pieces and participate in challenges with other users. You are responsible for the proper use of the app and the content entered during sessions.
3. Account and Authentication
You can log in to SushiCount via "Sign in with Apple", "Sign in with Google", or by manually registering with email and password. These methods are used exclusively for authentication purposes. We do not collect or store Apple or Google login credentials. Personal information (such as email) is stored only if necessary for access, as described in our Privacy Policy.
4. Purchases, Subscriptions, and Payments
SushiCount offers optional paid features (Subscriptions) and consumable items (Credits). Purchases can be made through two channels:
- In-App Purchases (Apple/Google): Managed directly by the Apple App Store or Google Play Store. Transactions, billing, and payment methods are governed entirely by the respective store's policies. SushiCount does not have access to your payment details for these transactions.
- Web Purchases (Stripe): Purchases made via our official website are processed securely by Stripe. By purchasing on the website, you authorize us (via Stripe) to charge your selected payment method. We do not store your full credit card details.
Subscription Cancellation (Web): If you purchased a subscription via our website, you may cancel the auto-renewal at any time through your profile settings. The subscription will remain active until the end of the current billing period.
5. Data Retention
Data is managed via Firebase (Firestore, Authentication) and is used exclusively to allow the app to function correctly. You can request the deletion of your account and data at any time as indicated in the Privacy Policy.
6. User Rights and GDPR
If you reside in the European Economic Area (EEA) or the United Kingdom, SushiCount processes your data in compliance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). You have the right to access, correct, or delete your data and to withdraw consent at any time. To exercise your rights, you can contact us via email at sushicounterapp@gmail.com.
7. Intellectual Property
All content, design, source code, and trademarks related to SushiCount are the property of the respective project owners. Copying, modifying, distributing, or reverse engineering the software without written authorization is prohibited.
8. Limitation of Liability
SushiCount is provided "as is", without any express or implied warranty. We do not guarantee that the app is error-free or always available, and we are not liable for any data loss or damages arising from the use of the application.
9. Absence of Advertising
SushiCount contains no third-party advertisements and does not use analytics or tracking tools (such as Google Analytics) for marketing purposes.
10. Account Deletion
You can delete your account at any time directly from the app by accessing Profile > Settings > Delete Account. This action will permanently and immediately remove your data from our Firebase servers.

11. Updates to Terms
We may periodically update these Terms and Conditions. Relevant changes will be communicated directly in-app or on the official website. Continued use of the app after such changes implies acceptance of the new Terms.

13. Trademarks
All trademarks, logos, and trade names potentially displayed in SushiCount belong to their respective owners. The use of such trademarks is purely descriptive and serves to identify features or compatibility of the service.
14. Misconduct and Stat Reset
It is prohibited to intentionally enter false data or unrealistic quantities solely to alter global leaderboards. Any behavior deemed incorrect or fraudulent by the SushiCount team may result in the partial or total reset of statistics associated with the account, without prior notice.
15. Credits and Refunds
Credits purchased within SushiCount (via App or Website) are strictly tied to the account with which they were purchased and are not transferable.
Final Sale: Unless required by applicable law, all purchases of digital content (Credits) are final and non-refundable once the content has been delivered to your account.
Refund Requests:
- For In-App Purchases: Contact Apple or Google support directly.
- For Web Purchases: Contact us at sushicounterapp@gmail.com. Refunds are granted only in cases of technical failure where content was not delivered.
